The original American patriots managed to do something truly spectacular when you consider the sheer power which the British Empire had at its disposal. With that revolution at the forefront of American history during the 18th Century, it laid the groundwork for some equally spectacular political maneuvers to happen behind the scenes.
America was born through politics, and through politics did America become a global superpower. America’s place in the world was quite uncertain in the 18th Century. Multiple brilliant people had their own designs for how they wished the country would progress. By compromising and working alongside one another, they built a stable democracy that would withstand centuries’ worth of diplomatic crises.
In this quiz, we will examine the bold political innovations that took place during those first decades of American independence.
