American Mobsters Quiz.
Even the mightiest nations are not infallible. In America, the powerful infrastructure of the country hides a dark underbelly. The nature of the American country as a nation of immigrants opened the door for all manner of organized crime syndicates to set up shop in the U.S.A. From all corners of the globe, people flooded into America in search of a better life.
Unfortunately, with these diverse people pursuing the American dream also came those who wished to exploit America and its people. These mobs formed around the alienated members of society who viewed the American dream as carte blanche to do whatever they wanted in the name of success. While America definitely had criminal elements in its society before the mobsters rolled in, never before had the criminal element of America been as organized as during the age of the mob.
Powerful figures from all walks of life were able to rise through the ranks of the mob if they had the guts and vitriol necessary to do so. The various mob organizations adapted to the multiple changes of American society to the point that they became impossible to properly dispose of for law enforcement. Their effectiveness combined with their existence above the law made them romanticized figures to many. However, to those who were victimized by the ruthless criminal activities of the mob, that romanticization couldn’t be further from the truth.
