Ancient Americas Quiz.
Though we often view the history of the American continents from the lens of the European and African immigrants that most of us are descended from, the point where these people set foot upon the continents was not the beginning of humanity upon them. There were many civilizations and peoples to live in the Americas before the various settlers came and built the American nations we know of today.
In an age known as prehistory, mankind managed to trek all the way to the Americas due to radical shifts in geography. Once they settled in the fertile lands of the Americas, different cultures began to develop in cooperation or opposition with one another. Along the whole of these two massive continents, cities, tribes, and nation-states were able to flourish. Few of these cultures left traditional logs and histories relating the legacy of their people.
As such, historians have had to largely utilize artifacts and folk histories to gain the widely accepted understandings we have now of these cultures. Because of this fact, we will try to ask questions mainly about concrete facts which anthropologists and historians widely accept as truth. This quiz will ask you questions about a number of the peoples that inhabited America before the first European settlers arrived.
We will ask you questions about the peoples themselves and their cultures as well as the world which impacted them. As much as to test, this quiz is meant to inform as well.
How much do you know about the people and cultures that originally settled the American continents? Take our Ancient Americas Quiz to find out.
Good Luck taking the Ancient Americas Quiz!
