Humans have always enjoyed the art of storytelling. That explains why, even when our ancestors lived in caves, they still took the time to paint narratives upon their walls. Mythology is born when that knack for storytelling intersects with a desire to explain the world at large. There are countless tales of mythology, and every corner of the globe has its own unique traditions.
This quiz will examine all manner of ancient beliefs from those that sprang up in your own backyard to even those originating from far-off regions. Indeed, we have pulled from most well-documented ancient faiths to make this quiz, and have scoured them for some of their most peculiar or lesser-known beliefs.
Thirty elements of mythology will be listed. However, your task will be to pick out the true mythological facts from the lies. Some of these are genuine beliefs from the annals of human history. Others are outright fabrications.
In order to streamline the process of making your selection, we have revived our true or false format. This way, it is fairly obvious how to cast your answer of whether the listed belief was held by certain people or made up by I.H.P.’s staff. Even an educated guess will still give you a reasonable chance of victory.
