National Capitals of Europe Quiz
The capital is often said to be the beating heart of a nation. Indeed, these sprawling cities hold the administrative power that dictates every country’s future. Many capital cities are older than the countries they are located in.
That is especially true for many European capital cities. Because of how recently (in a historical sense) many European countries have become republics, there are plenty of nations that are fresh and new while being stationed in ancient cities.
This quiz will test your knowledge of thirty national capitals found throughout the continent of Europe. With straightforward subject matter, the format of each question will be similarly straightforward. We will ask you to either list the capital of the provided country or vice-versa. Some European capitals are arguably among the most famous cities on earth. Others, however, are a bit more obscure. This will provide a range of questions that differ in terms of their difficulty.
Historians of all levels can take this quiz to discover their knowledge on the subject. Another important note to get out of the way is that we will only be including thirty capitals in this quiz. With limited space, we’ve had to be selective about what capitals to include and which to pass over in this edition of the quiz.
As much as to test, this quiz is meant to inform. So, we hope you come out of it knowing something new.
