The History of Pixar Quiz
Animation grants artists a nearly unparalleled ability to create. The medium’s founders even understood that when they decided on its name, animation meaning, “To give life to.” By drawing individual cells and cycling through them rapidly, the naked eye is tricked into seeing fluid motion from technically static places and characters.
The most talented animators are able to completely shred the disconnect between the audience and their work, helping them feel like they are truly a part of the wonder unfolding before them.
In recent years, one animation studio has become known throughout the world for making films genuinely enjoyed by people of all ages through the latest and greatest computer animation technology. Pixar was founded by ambitious men with different versions of a singular goal.
They wanted to tell uniquely emotional stories dealing with everything from grief to the anxieties of parenthood and so much more. Though animation was seen exclusively as a medium for children’s entertainment at the time, these pioneers helped break that stigma through the simple virtue of making timeless and universal plots that people genuinely related to and had fun experiencing.

This quiz seeks to examine the rise of Pixar as a company and its body of work.
