Trivia Question

Trivia Question: Almost 13,000 Union soldiers died in what Georgia prison camp during the Civil War?

Answer: Andersonville / Camp Sumter

Andersonville was unsanitary, overcrowded with prisoners, and undersupplied. As a result, prisoners succumbed to disease and starvation. Some Confederate guards even outright tortured and killed their prisoners as a form of entertainment.
