Some know this tragic episode as “The Boston Molasses Flood.” A tank of molasses unexpectedly burst and rushed through the nearby streets, tragically restraining and drowning people in its viscous mass. In addition to the 21 who lost their lives, 150 others had serious injuries from this unusual tragedy.
