Trivia Question

Trivia Question: Ganymede, Io, and Europa are all moons of what planet named for the father in mythology?

Answer: Jupiter

In the Roman pantheon, Jupiter was the sovereign of all other gods. Despite his power, his lustful habits resulted in many illegitimate children. Io, Ganymede, and Europa are three examples of Jupiter’s progeny, and so their names were attached to the planet Jupiter’s moons.
