Trivia Question: What is the name of the stone tablet that helped archaeologists crack the Ancient Egyptian written language?
Answer: The Rosetta Stone
The Stone contains a decree from King Ptolemy V. The first two sections of the stone share that decree in different dialects of Egyptian symbology while the last section tells the same decree in Ancient Greek. Since archaeologists already understood Ancient Greek, they could then use the Rosetta Stone as a key to decipher other Egyptian writings.
