Trivia Question

Trivia Question: In Norse mythology, what is the name of the apocalyptic winter that preludes the end of the world?

Answer: Fimbulvetr

Fimbulvetr was an opening note of the Norse legend of the apocalypse. It was supposed to be a winter so cold that it ended all life on Earth. To those of Scandinavia’s icy lands, such a terrifying winter must have seemed like a reasonable way the world could end.
