Answer: Cu Chulainn

Cu is the Gaelic word for hound, and Chulainn was the name of a man whom the Celtic hero served. The hero Cu Chulainn is often called the Celtic equivalent of Hercules. Both were demigods of impressive strength whose violent tempers occasionally sabotaged their efforts at heroism.
