Trivia Question: Britain fought the Opium Wars against what other nation?
The Opium Wars take their name from the drugs which Britain sold in Chinese ports. When Chinese officials refused to distribute opium to their countrymen, Britain began to assault China. Thanks to their victory, the British won the right to continue flooding Chinese markets with addictive opium products.
